I did not know Jocelyn, nor do I know her estranged husband but felt like I should or could pay my respects to her and her family and friends. God has a master plan for each and everyone of us, and we are not to know what that plan is until e calls us home. Again thoughts and prayer go out to you all

I had the pleasure of working with Jocelyn on a project at work. She was the most spirited person I have ever met. She was so full of joy and happiness all the time, no matter how her day was going. She was so caring and always smiling. I will always remember her smile!

Thinking of Jocelyn... |

I'm so very sorry that Jocelyn is gone. She helped my family move and came to many weekend gatherings over the years. I've played basketball, football with her and have been camping with her. She always seemed to be such a good, welcoming person.

Hello! |
February 26, 2008 |
Laura Kristin Branham Rogers...... I'm sitting here thinking about you and Joyce.....I want you to know how proud I am to be your friend! Your strength is amazing and your courage to survive is admirable! You had better know that you can call me at anytime of the night to talk, cry, laugh....whatever! My heart knows that the storm will end for you, and you can look forward to all the wonderful things yet to come that Joce will experience not only with you, but beside you! My prayers will continue till they are answered and although we are many miles apart, I'm just 10 digits away! Please kiss your Momma and have her kiss you back for me.
Love you brat! Please try not to laugh at my grammer or spelling mistakes! This damn thing doesn't have frickin spell check!
-One more thing, when I'm running on the treadmill, I find myself asking Joce to pass some of her skills to me so I don't look like a frickin retard at the gym!

I had the pleasure of working with Jocelyn very early in her career and knowing her since she arrived in Lynchburg. She was always so enthusiastic, energetic, and quick with a joke to lighten things up. I will remember her fondly and miss her greatly. My prayers are with her family and friends during these very difficult times.

I knew Jocelyn from playing against her in basketball and softball during our high school years. What a wonderful person she was and such an awesome athlete. My prayers go out to her entire family. May God bless you.

I was blessed to work with Jocelyn at Genworth for several years. Her smile, laughter and caring personality will always hold a special place in my heart. She was always very geniune, fun to be around and willing to lend a helping hand. Her photography was quite amazing, too. She is and will always be greatly missed. May God's grace give all her family and friends the strength and comfort needed during this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone who was touched by her beautiful life.
God bless,

To the family & friends of Jocelyn,
We are so sorry about your loss. We lived next door to Jocelyn in Forest for 6 years. She was always a caring and generous neighbor. We had great times talking and laughing together. We will remember the times we would take care of her pets and how great she was with ours.
We can't understand why this has happened to such a wonderful person. Sometimes it is hard to know how this fits into God's plan but we know He is in control.
You are in our thoughts and prayers.
